How do you define Art you create, and why do you think it so impresses the audience?
– I’m not for everyone. Only a certain type of people could touch me and it raises their interest in me. They find part of theirself in my artwork. With this you can become closer to a person.
What kind are people you like to interact with and what they are impressed by you?
– They fall in love. In their eyes I understand when they are in love. Suddenly their eyes open, light, look at the painting, sink in it and nothing except it is no longer interested them. And I know that this picture is for this man. There have been cases when different people have a desire to possess my paintings, but the fate didn’t permit this. Therefore, I say that things are special. Peoples’ relationship to the painting are about an internal feeling.
What is the exhibition you are the most proud with?
– I cannot be proud of an exhibition rather I am proud of the people who come to see it. There coming very interesting people. It’s like you meet someone who you haven’t seen for ages and suddenly he smiles at you. No matter which nationality is.
What usually inspires you?
– My artwork is the result of a long philosophical reflections. I live in a great loneliness. Usually when I’m alone with myself and work, are coming out interesting things. I don’t wait for the muse to tap me on the shoulder. This happens very rarely.
Do you believe in destiny, you talk about spirituality as a basis of human and personality development?
– Everyone makes his destiny alone. Although you can have your difficulties – big challenges are given to big people, says Dostoevsky, while small challenges are for the little people. I say I’m a big man, but it had given to me hard challenges to overcome. I have had several such cases in my life when I passed through huge concerns, difficulties, trials before it happens something really nice, thrilling and impressive.
